So back around my birthday in March, I went to visit my dad and he sent me home with an acoustic guitar. I wasn’t really enjoying it, and even though I initially set out to learn acoustic and do a solo singer-songwriter thing, that wasn’t what I was finding I wanted to actually learn. So I traded in my acoustic and the other day I brought home an electric that actually caught my eye at the local guitar store several months ago and still happened to be there when I was ready to bring it home. It’s a Firefly FFTL Thinline-style in Sunburst with P90s like the one seen on their website here.

I’m still learning basic exercises and chords and scales and I can play a clunky riff to Seven Nation Army, but I’m definitely enjoying this guitar a heck of a lot better than the acoustic my dad sent me home with.
