So I was watching my boyfriend play a game last night, and decided to do a sketch to keep my hands busy. Asked him what kind of bird I should draw, and he said a tanager. So, I have a flame-faced tanager I found on Pinterest to use as a reference photo. I really love how this turned out, the colors are super vibrant and the shapes just turned out so smooth and nice.
Also, some of my friends encouraged me to start watermarking my art. I took it to heart, especially if I’m going to start posting things on Pinterest as well.
